Middle distance – single: 

M/W 18+(born 2005 or older)

Middle distance – relay:

·       swim -M/W 12+(born 2011 or older, with triathlon or swimming license, without license M/W 18+ born 2002 or older),

·       bike -M/W18+ (born 2005 or older),

·       run-M/W18+ (born 2005 or older)

Rules & Regulations

·       Races will be held according ITU and CTF rules

·       Race timing and data processing will be done by timing chip transponders.

·       It's mandatory to keep on the right side of the road during the bike segment

4.00 pm – 8.00 pm – startpackages distribution at Sali, ID  must be shown

4.00 pm – 7.00 pm - bikedrop at T1-Sakarun beach

Saturday 07.09.2024.

6.45 am– Bus departure for singlecompetitors and relay swimmers and cyclists from Sali T2 (finish area) toSakarun (start race)
7.45 am – 8.45 am – open tocompetitors Sakarun beach
7.30 am – 8.30 am – bagdrop-off(streetwear bag and T2 bag), streetwear bags will be transported to thefinish area, and T2 bags will be transported to T2 and placed in the designatedarea
09.00 am – RACE START
1.30 pm – 5.30 pm – bike / checkout
5.00 pm – 8.00 pm – dinner onfinish area
6.00 pm – Winner ceremony

Swimming in world famous Sakarun bay

Sakarun Bay

Sakarun is one of the most famous beaches in Zadar County, located on the northwest coast of the island.

Near the beach are the places Veli Rat, Veruni, Soline and Božava. The beach gained its reputation with the whiteness of the sand and clean sea, surrounded by pine trees that provide a welcome shade in the summer. It is about 800 meters long and at some 250 meters from the shore it is 3.5 meters deep.

Swimming – 1900m

·       Average sea temperature on 22°-24°-C. 

·       Wet suits will not be permitted if water temperature exceeds 22 degrees

·       3 clockwise loops

·       competitors will head to the first yellow buoy and turn right

·       turning buoys must be kept on the right

·       referees and rescue in kayaks and motor boats

·       time limit: 1:15 h from the start.

·       competitors who did not arrive within the time limit will be disqualified (DSQ), they can continue race entirely on their own risk!

Swim course

Cycling on magical roads of Long island

Bicycle – 90km 

·       87km, 1266 m alt., (39km + 24 km +24 km)

·       open for traffic

·       Refreshment zone  (14km, 39 km, 63 km)

·       Refreshment offer: bananas and bike bottles with water and isotonic

·       Referees will be on motorcycles

·       Stewards will be placed at the critical points

·       Drafting is not allowed

·       TT bike, aero helmet and long aero bars are allowed

·       time limit: 5:30h from the start.

·       competitors who did not arrive within the time limit will be disqualified (DSQ), they can continue race entirely on their own risk!

Long island is about 40km long. Sakarun bay and our swim course is located on the west end of the island while Sali, our T2 transition, is on a south end of the island. Open sea on southwest side and scattered island on north side of the road will follow you all the way.
With elevation of 1200m this is no easy task, but is very rewarding!

We cant think of any better scenery for running cours. Stretching 10km deep into the nature park, this is probably the most beautifull course you will ever run on. You will visit the Salt lake at 10th kilometer, pass near amazing clifs and enjoy the silence of the bay we call "Mir" or peace.
